ABOUT US
International Women’s Day has been designated by the United Nations as the eighth of March every year. The first oficial day was held on March 8, 1975, and was observed in 144 countries that year. Fortune Magazine described it as “a global movement to celebrate and support female founders and shed light on some of their challenges.” Forbes Magazine wrote that the day was meant “to mobilize a global network of female business owners, entrepreneurs and change makers who support and empower this community of women entrepreneurs and their businesses.”
In celebration of this Women’s Day, MET Community US is convening a dynamic series of panels on March 15, 2018, as part of its global “ForoMET” series of events. We are thrilled you are joining us!
